My first memory of meeting Millie was in the early 1980's when she met with us in her role as sales manager for World Book Encyclopedia explaining why it was important for our family of three young school age children to have a set of World Book encyclopedias in our home. It was a good investment for our family. Over the years the paths of Millie and myself would occasionally cross becoming more frequent with our involvement with the Maui branch of Bible Institute of Hawaii with her serving as secretary for some years. Millie is remembered for her firm Christian faith which she readily shared and her always radiant smile.
