Dear Lois and family, We knew your mom Millie from attending the same church, Kaimuki Evangelical Church, from the early 1960s. In fact, we attended a double date with your mom and dad right after we were married, June 1963, and before your parents were married. We went out to Ala Moana Beach to swim. Your mom was so energetic and amazing. She swam out to the reef and back, with a hole in her heart!! I wasn't brave enough to try that! Later in life, we watched her take care of your dad, and went out together on some outings with them. She was tender, caring and thoughtful while keeping him on a tether. She was always so positive, never complaining, faithful always to him and to Him! God bless you all as you reminisce and thank the Lord for a wonderful Mom! Love, Alma & Bong
